About HSPA

Heritage Stories & Performing Arts

HSPA is an initiative established with the intent to celebrate Indian cultural heritage, share and transfer heritage knowledge through the captivating world of Stories and Performing Arts.

The three pillars that drive HSPA are:

  • Celebrate
  • Share
  • Conserve

Under its pillar 'Celebrate', HSPA is proud to curate an event to honour and celebrate the Independence of India. This series, namely 'Itihaas Ke Pannon Se...', came to life in August, 2020.

Mission

To make heritage intimate, alive and transferable.

HSPA seeks to unearth stories rooted in Indian cultural memory and bring them to audiences through theatre, classical and folk performance, storytelling, reflective learning and community participation.

The work is guided by three simple commitments: to celebrate heritage, to share knowledge across generations, and to conserve living traditions before they fade from public memory.

02

Share
