Who We Are

About HSPA

HSPA – Indian Performing Arts
Est. 2018 Β· 6 Years of Heritage
Honouring India's artistic legacy, ensuring its treasures continue to inspire and educate across time and space.

HSPA is an initiative established with the intent to celebrate Indian cultural heritage, share and transfer heritage knowledge through the captivating world of Stories and Performing Arts.

We seek to unearth forgotten narratives, celebrate timeless traditions, and share the profound knowledge embedded in our history. Through immersive, one-of-a-kind events, workshops and performances, HSPA connects us all a little bit closer to our roots.

Celebrate β€” We honour the richness of Indian cultural heritage through curated events, performances and festivals that bring living traditions into the present.

Share β€” We create spaces for heritage knowledge to flow across generations β€” through storytelling, workshops, and experiential learning for all ages.

Conserve β€” We document, archive and advocate for the preservation of performing arts traditions that face the risk of being lost to time.

Over six years, HSPA has curated 50+ events across Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru, reaching over 3,000 participants.

From intimate women's circles to large heritage walks and storytelling festivals, HSPA has created a vibrant community of heritage custodians and performing arts enthusiasts.

Our work spans Storytelling, Theatre, Classical Dance, Heritage Walks, Guided Meditation and Art-Based Reflection.

"Stories are the threads that weave generations together. When we tell them, we live. When we listen, we belong."
