About HSPA
HSPA is an initiative established with the intent to celebrate Indian cultural heritage, share and transfer heritage knowledge through the captivating world of Stories and Performing Arts.
The three pillars that drive HSPA are:
Under its pillar 'Celebrate', HSPA is proud to curate an event to honour and celebrate the Independence of India. This series, namely 'Itihaas Ke Pannon Se...', came to life in August, 2020.
Mission
HSPA seeks to unearth stories rooted in Indian cultural memory and bring them to audiences through theatre, classical and folk performance, storytelling, reflective learning and community participation.
The work is guided by three simple commitments: to celebrate heritage, to share knowledge across generations, and to conserve living traditions before they fade from public memory.
Three Pillars
Curated events honour the richness of Indian cultural heritage and bring living traditions into the present.
Storytelling, workshops and performances create spaces where heritage knowledge moves across generations.
Urban conversations and artistic documentation hold space for people who carry heritage in life and work.
Timeline
A practice of storytelling, theatre and facilitation begins to gather into a cultural platform.
The Independence series evolves into live state-specific shows and a platform for unsung heroes.
HSPA continues through performances, reflective sessions, heritage conversations and city chapters.
